ArcelorMittal Zenica has continued its positive initiative to recognise and reward outstanding contributions to sustainable savings projects since the beginning of 2024. The goal is for all employees to engage in various initiatives to improve the Company’s performance and presentation skills. The expert jury evaluates the projects according to the following criteria:
- Clear presentation with a message;
- Good understanding of the subject;
- Sustainable savings;
- Teamwork.
At the second Performance Award Ceremony for Sustainable Savings Projects, held on December 4, 2024, 25 projects, or 114 employees from production plants and departments: Rolling Mills, Blast Furnace, Power Engineering and Automation, Transportation, Steel Plant, Profit Center, Sinter plant, Toplana Zenica and IT, were awarded for projects implemented in 2024. Special recognition was given to the HR Department, Communications and CR, for winning first place in the corporate project competition in the Responsible Leadership category, for the great implementation of the Open Door Policy program at the local level.
We believe that there are many good and useful practices in our Company that our employees apply every day, and on this occasion, we encourage them to report even “small” projects that continuously contribute to various types of savings.
Teams can report sustainable savings projects for the first quarter of 2025 to their directors by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
