ArcelorMittal Zenica is the largest exporter in Bosnia & Herzegovina

The Indirect Taxation Authority in Bosnia has compiled a list of the largest exporters and importers in B&H. The list of TOP 10 importers and exporters in B&H in 2017 was created on the basis of the values achieved in the previous year.
According to the official data of the Indirect Taxation Authority in Bosnia, ArcelorMittal Zenica took the first place, followed by Prevent Visoko and Aluminij Mostar. There are almost no changes on the list compared to 2016. ArcelorMittal Zenica was Bosnian largest exporter at that time also.

ArcelorMittal Zenica installed the world’s first hybrid filter in Sinter plant

ArcelorMittal Zenica is the first steel plant in the world having industrial-scale hybrid filtration technology installed in its Sinter plant. A total of €3m has been invested in the new technology, which has cut dust emissions significantly, to well below the EU limit of 20 mg/Nm3. This year the company plans to install a second filter, on sinter machine no 6, so that both sinter plant stacks’ dust emissions are filtered.
The filter technology is the culmination of a major collaboration between Danish global engineering company FLSmidth and ArcelorMIttal’s R&D team. Learn More
ArcelorMittal celebrates historic 125 years of steelmaking in Zenica

ArcelorMittal has celebrated 125 years of steelmaking in Zenica, marking the occasion with a special event attended by more than 200 dignitaries and guests.
The event, held on 2 November, was hosted by Mr Biju Nair, chief executive officer of ArcelorMittal Zenica, who was joined by senior representatives from ArcelorMittal’s global management.
