At ArcelorMittal, our commitment to health and safety (H&S) is unwavering, and we never compromise on it. Last year’s H&S day launched the multiyear campaign ‘Believe in ZERO’ to inspire all colleagues to join the journey to become a company with zero fatalities and serious injuries.
But belief is only the first step. Every day that we prioritise H&S and ensure that everyone gets home safely after work brings us closer to Making Zero Happen.
Below is an overview of some of the events that were organised in ArcelorMittal Zenica H&S day during the last week.
• Organised three rescue exercises from different locations and drives. AMZ workers and external workers participated in the exercises. Objective exercises checking the readiness and skill of the rescue team, the reaction in the crisis and the training of first aid.
