ArcelorMittal Zenica employs around 2,300 employees.
We employ graduates and experienced workers in a range of disciplines including all types of engineering, maintenance, automation, energy and environment, IT/digital technology, project management, skilled trades and manufacturing, and more.

Safety
Our number one priority is health and safety at work. The company makes significant efforts by providing various trainings, rescue exercises, seminars, and workshops, with the aim of increasing the awareness of our employees about the importance and seriousness of following the Health and Safety Policy and Life Saving Golder Rules. In addition, we are a company that provides its employees with all the necessary personal protective equipment and insists on its use, without exception.

Development
a) Training at the workplace - Education & training of employees
Through their activities, employees influence performance and effectiveness, therefore special attention is paid to the education and training of all employees. The goal is to provide and improve the necessary competencies of employees who work or will work at ArcelorMittal Zenica. Education and training are organized within the Company and in other educational institutions, through the following types of education:
- education of workers to obtain a vocational qualification (education at higher schools and faculties, as well as professional schools),
- education of workers within the framework of the acquired professional qualification (training of newly hired workers, trainees, and persons undergoing professional training; H&S and fire protection training; training to work on new facilities and technologies; professional exams, courses, training at the workplace and specializations; annual renewal of knowledge),
- education through professional literature,
- environmental protection education.

c) Practical teaching - high school students and students
ArcelorMittal Zenica has been maintaining continuous cooperation with secondary vocational schools and universities in Zenica, Sarajevo, and Tuzla for years. The most frequent collaborations took place with pupils and students of mechanical, metallurgical, and electrical professions. Our employees, who play the role of mentors during the implementation of practical classes, selflessly share their knowledge with high school and university students, in order to help them acquire knowledge, work habits, and abilities to perform tasks and find their way in a real economic environment.
