On this occasion, the Company’s management handed over awards to 84 employees from various departments who significantly contributed to health and safety at work.
Awarded workers distinguished themselves with their activities, and actions in preventing incidents and injuries at work, and thus showed by personal example that safety at work is really a priority in performing work tasks.
As part of this year’s Health and Safety Day, special attention was paid to the analysis of the Golden Rules that save lives, whereby each department and its workers did an additional review, with the aim of better understanding the importance of each of the Golden Rules. Various realized activities in the past week were aimed at strengthening the application of the Golden Rules in everyday work: a visit by students to the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology and the Faculty of Medicine in Zenica, a rescue exercise in a hazardous gas area and confined space, opening the room for providing first aid.
